LESS HYPE. MORE CONTEXT.
AI needs people who can tell when a solution is correct, when it’s almost right, and when it quietly breaks.
On paid AI training projects, engineers may review generated code, compare solutions, test edge cases, and explain their reasoning. The work rewards careful thinking.
This is contract work. Acceptance, project availability, and earnings vary. Sidetask is an independent readiness check, not an employer or a hiring decision.
A SMALL CHECK. A CLEARER NEXT STEP.
Confirm you currently have a paid job in a computing field and can solve coding problems independently.
Work through seven original questions on debugging, code review, and engineering reasoning.
A strong result can unlock a referral, subject to availability. You’ll get the application link only after meeting the screening requirements.
Good fit doesn’t mean guaranteed acceptance. Only the platform can assess your application. Our questions are independent practice, not its assessment.
THE DETAILS, UP FRONT
You must currently have a paid job in software, data/AI, IT, cybersecurity, or another computing field. You also need to solve coding problems independently, spot bugs, and explain your reasoning in clear English. A degree, previous job, or hobby alone doesn’t meet this campaign’s requirement.
No. We use our own threshold of 6 out of 7 questions, plus the basic checks, to decide when to release a referral. This is a readiness signal, not a validated acceptance prediction. The provider makes every application decision.
The readiness check is open globally. The provider’s country and role availability still applies and can change. A strong result does not confirm location eligibility; check the official application requirements when you receive your referral, before signing up.
This check is free. The application link is a referral, and the referrer may receive a reward. Sidetask is independent and does not represent the work provider. You’ll see the referral disclosure before opening the official application.
No name, email, résumé, or employer name. Your current employment and role category are self-declared. We save an anonymous browser identifier, assigned questions, score, campaign source, and whether a referral was released. Read the privacy notice.
